· Information on how and when you use the Platform, Products, and Services, or view content on the Platform.

· Information about websites visited before accessing our Platform and other related usage statistics.

(d) Marketing and Communications Data

· Your interests, survey responses, preferences for receiving marketing materials, communication preferences, product/service preferences, and feedback through chat, email, or calls with Venora Fashion or third-party service providers.

· Location information when you check for deals near you or track the delivery/pick-up status of orders.

g) To integrate third-party loyalty programs (including those by sellers or brands) with our Platform.

iii. Marketing & Advertising
a) To provide information we believe may be useful to you or that you have requested;
b) To send marketing or promotional information regarding Purple Shop BD or third-party sellers’ products and services;
c) To conduct marketing and advertising activities;
d) To promote the Platform using user-generated content (including videos you upload), which may be publicly accessible on the Internet as part of marketing campaigns.

iv. Other Purposes
a) To better understand our buyers;
b) To perform automated decision-making processes for any of the above purposes, in compliance with applicable laws

3.4. Sellers

If you have registered with  Venora Fashion as a seller, the personal data we collect from you or via third parties may be used for the following purposes:

i. Providing Services
a) To ship or deliver products you list or sell through the Platform. Your information may be shared with third parties (e.g., logistics partners, affiliates) or regulatory authorities (e.g., customs) to facilitate shipping or delivery;
b) To respond to your queries, feedback, complaints, or disputes;
c) To verify documents submitted for seller onboarding and to test technologies for faster and more efficient onboarding;
d) To display your name, username, or profile on the Platform;
e) To verify and process payment transactions (including credit card, bank transfers, offline payments, remittances, or e-wallet transactions). Payment-related data may be shared with third-party payment service providers;
f) To assess loan applications or perform credit risk evaluations for seller financing, insurance, or credit facilities, where applicable;
g) To provide ancillary logistics services to mitigate delivery failures or returns;
h) To facilitate product returns, possibly through logistics partners.

ii. Marketing & Advertising
a) To send marketing or promotional materials regarding Purple Shop BD or third-party sellers’ products and services;
b) To conduct marketing and advertising activities.

iii. Other Purposes
a) To better understand our sellers;

1.     Service providers – such as agents, vendors, contractors, sub-contractors, and partners providing services like payment processing, logistics and shipping, marketing, data analytics, market or consumer research, surveys, social media management, customer service, cloud computing or hosting services, credit risk assessment, audits, installation services, IT, and website hosting.

2.     Their service providers and affiliated companies.

3.     Alibaba Group entities and affiliated companies, or their designated service providers, which assist in providing processing services such as software, systems, tools, and messaging services in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

4.     Courts, tribunals, law enforcement agencies, government or regulatory authorities, where disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws, exercise or defend legal rights, or protect the vital interests of any person.

5.     Affiliated entities providing financial services, such as buy-now-pay-later services, solely for credit risk assessment, creditworthiness evaluation, or credit risk protection purposes.

6.     Any other person where you have given your consent for disclosure.

We take steps to ensure that third parties and affiliates keep your personal data secure and retain it only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

4.3 You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time through the mobile application settings or using the unsubscribe function in electronic marketing materials.


5. Updating Your Personal Data

5.1 You are responsible for ensuring your personal data is accurate, up-to-date, and complete to continue using our Platform and Services. Please notify us of any changes or if your data is incorrect or misleading.

5.2 You can update your personal data at any time by accessing your account on the Platform.

6.2 Where allowed by law,  Venora Fashion reserves the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee for retrieving personal data records. Any applicable fee will be communicated before processing your request.
